Blogger Trends - In a book written by Walter Isaacson's biography, Steve Jobs once said he wanted to create its own WiFi network to replace the cellular networks, so Apple has full control over all elements of the phone.
John Stanton, chairman of Trilogy Capital Partners which is the company saying, Jobs often discuss with him about the prospect of a WiFi network, before the launch of the first iPhone was released in 2007.
"Jobs wanted to replace the operator. He and I spent a lot of time talking about whether synthetically can create a WiFi spectrum. It is part of his vision," said Stanton, as quoted by Cnet, Thursday (11/17/2011).
Jobs seems to want to make some kind of VoIP, WiFi using unlicensed spectrum. But Jobs gave up, after two years of focus on the launch of its first generation iPhone. Jobs had previously signed an exclusive agreement with one operator in each country, such as O2 in the UK and in the United States (U.S.) is represented by AT & T. Stanton had spoken at Law Seminars International in Seattle, he said operators should feel concerned about the many forces that are currently owned manufacturer of electronic. "If my carrier, then I would be concerned with the dramatic shift in terms of power is happening now," he said.
